Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of CNC mills or lathes experience.
• 3+ years reading G-code and programming toolpaths.
• Ability to read engineering prints and GD&T.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.

Responsibilities

• Program and machine high precision, quick turn projects as well as recurring production jobs with the same attention to detail.
• Set up, operate, and prove-out programs on Proto Trak CNC mill (horizontal and vertical spindle), Proto Trak CNC lathe, manual mill/lathe and other shop equipment.
• Look critically at all part processes to drive efficiency and improve quality by interfacing with engineers and designers.
• Give feedback to engineers and designers, including early process reviews and receive feedback from customers to improve quality at the machine.
• Enforce SpaceX processes, procedures and safety culture while working at company facilities.
