Job summary

Super Steel in Mequon, WI is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to program and operate high-speed multi-axis machines. You will read blueprints and CAD files to create and modify CNC programs and set up machines for new or existing programs.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with Fusion 360 and G-code, and experience with HAAS machines. We offer competitive benefits, including health, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Technical trade education or an associate degree is preferred.
• Proficient with computer software and able to read CAD files.

Responsibilities

• Program, set-up, and operate high-speed multi-axis CNC vertical mills and turning centers.
• Read blueprints and CAD files to understand dimensions and tolerances.
• Create and modify CNC programs and set up machines for new or existing programs.
• Identify tooling and fixturing requirements and manage tool purchase requests.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and contribute to process improvements.
