Job summary

Flowserve in Addison, IL is seeking dependable CNC Machinists to set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce parts per production specs in a safe shop floor environment.

In this hands-on role, you will read instructions, inspect work with precision measuring tools, and make basic machine adjustments while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for several hours.
• Must speak and write English to follow work instructions and safety protocols.
• Must be dependable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to production requirements.
• Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform measurements and quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Make basic machine adjustments and monitor equipment during production.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area following safety procedures.
