Role Description

As a CNC Machinist/Milling Process Technician, you will program and operate CNC machines to produce precision components. Responsibilities include quoting, programming, setting up new parts, developing processes for CNC Vertical and Horizontal Milling machines, determining cycle times, fixturing, tooling requirements, and working with vendors. You will also handle machine setup, inspection, and report to the Process Engineer. Strong skills in blueprint reading, CNC machining, Fanuc, and GD&T are essential. Knowledge of Gibb CAM and precision measuring instruments will support process development.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience with CNC Vertical/Horizontal Milling machines
• Ability to design and build milling fixtures
• Proficient in CNC programming and machining techniques
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T principles
• Experience with Fanuc and GibbsCAM software
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (CMM, Vision, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges)
• Mechanical knowledge of tooling and geometry
