Job summary

MicroPort Orthopedics in Arlington, TN is seeking a Machinist to operate CNC/Manual machines and produce medical devices from setup to finished goods, following blueprints and QA requirements. You will use calipers, micrometers and other inspection tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

The role covers Machinist I–Senior levels with opportunities to contribute to process improvements, train others, and participate in team events.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with metrology tools is preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate company core values and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC/Manual mills and lathes to manufacture medical devices according to specs.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure QA requirements.
• Enter production data and maintain device history records as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering/production teams to optimize processes and mentor others.
