Wolverine Special Tool Inc. is seeking a machinist to grow a career in CNC machining in Grand Rapids, MI. You’ll run CNC lathes and mills to produce parts per blueprints and tolerances. Training is available for newcomers and you’ll earn pay increases as your skills advance.

Qualifications

• Experience measuring with calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Reliable and willing to learn.
• Machine setup experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and mills, including Mazak machines and machines with Fanuc controls.
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
• Follow blueprints and work instructions to hold tolerances
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Learn machine setup as you grow in the role
