Shively Bros., Inc. in Chesaning, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for first shift to join a small, quality-driven shop. The role focuses on precision milling, setup and operation of JET CNC milling machines with ACU-RITE MILLPWR, and programming with Mastercam.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience.
Strong setup and troubleshooting skills.
Experience programming with Mastercam.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate JET CNC milling machines equipped with ACU-RITE MILLPWR CNC controls.
Program and modify toolpaths using Mastercam.
Read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
Optimize tooling, feeds, speeds, and setup processes.
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, indicators, and height gages.
Document inspection results in ProShop ERP.
Help maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement efforts.
