Qualifications

• Read and understand manufacturing prints.
• Knowledge of quality standards and tolerances.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics for measurements.
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Make machine adjustments for efficient machining operations.
• Use precision measuring instruments to check own work against specifications.
• Cut-to-shape steel parts using a CNC machining center and finish sub-assemblies by welding.
• Set up fixtures on vertical milling machine and select cutting tools.
• Start and observe milling or drilling operations to detect malfunctions and adjust controls as needed.
• Support robot welding operation and adjust parameters as required.
