Job Description
MANUFACTURING LEAD
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Lead is the most senior skilled production staff member in the department, responsible for overseeing employees' work operations within the department or unit. This role requires extensive experience in all production functions, including machine setup, process planning, layouts, machining, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
The position involves performing activities related to NC or CNC machine operation, developmental or precision machining, troubleshooting, training, and coordinating team activities. The Lead is identified based on the highest level of work performed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Annual certification in safe machine operation, hazardous materials handling, quality assurance, and SPC. Advanced SPC, problem solving, and leadership training are required.
