Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce machined parts on a CNC lathe. The role requires interpreting drawings, GD&T, and tolerances while following work orders and process parameters.

You will monitor SPC data and perform quality checks, ensuring parts meet exact specifications. A basic level of vocational or technical education and prior machining experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Interprets geometric dimensions and tolerances from drawings and specifications.
• Monitors process capability and uses SPC data to ensure quality.
• Requires work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

Responsibilities

• Produces machined parts using a CNC lathe.
• Studies work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
• Performs basic gauging, measurements and quality checks.
