Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support and mentorship to 2nd-shift CNC operators in Lathe/Mill-Turn and Swiss areas.
• Perform CNC setups, operate equipment, and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues.
• Serve as the technical point of reference for operators, assisting with setup verification, tooling selection, and process adjustments.
• Help operators develop machining, setup, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor quality and production to ensure components meet customer specs, tight tolerances, and delivery requirements.
• Operate and support Mill-Turn equipment across metals, high-performance alloys, and plastics.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, repeatability, and workflow.
• Communicate technical, quality, and equipment issues while promoting a safe, collaborative 2nd-shift environment.
• Take on increasing mentoring and technical leadership responsibilities as the team grows.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical support and mentorship to 2nd-shift CNC operators in the Lathe/Mill-Turn area or Swiss area.

• Serve as the technical go-to resource for operators, assisting with setup verification, tooling selection, and process adjustments.
• Help operators develop their machining, setup, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor quality and production to ensure components meet customer specifications, tight tolerances, and delivery requirements.
• Operate and support advanced Mill-Turn equipment across a variety of metals, high-performance alloys, and plastics.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, repeatability, and workflow.
• Communicate technical, quality, and equipment issues while promoting a safe, collaborative, and accountable 2nd-shift environment.
• Take on increasing mentoring and technical leadership responsibilities as the team continues to grow.
