C&M Precision Tech in Hudson, NH is seeking a Lead CNC Machinist to guide a small 2nd-shift team. You will perform setups, operate Lathe and Mill-Turn equipment, and mentor fellow machinists while ensuring tight tolerances on critical components.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of CNC machining and setup experience and enjoy troubleshooting and helping others grow professionally. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong family- and veteran-owned culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on technical support and mentorship to 2nd-shift CNC operators in the Lathe/Mill-Turn area or Swiss area.
• Perform CNC setups, operate equipment, and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues.
• Serve as the technical go-to resource for operators, assisting with setup verification, tooling selection, and process adjustments.
• Help operators develop their machining, setup, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor quality and production to ensure components meet customer specifications, tight tolerances, and delivery requirements.
• Operate and support advanced Mill-Turn equipment across a variety of metals, high-performance alloys, and plastics.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, repeatability, and workflow.
• Communicate technical, quality, and equipment issues while promoting a safe, collaborative, and accountable 2nd-shift environment.
• Take on increasing mentoring and technical leadership responsibilities as the team continues to grow.
