Job summary

Trillium Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Peoria Heights. You will run CNC lathes and HMCs, program parts, set up, and manage offsets while reading blueprints. Micrometers and calipers are used for precision checks, and forklift operation may be required.

The 1st shift runs 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $25-$30 per hour based on experience. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a small, private atmosphere emphasizing safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years CNC lathe or HMC experience
• Experience with set ups and offsets
• Knowledge of basic G & M codes and program editing of speeds, feeds, and tool paths
• Strong troubleshooting
• Advanced blueprint reading
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and horizontal machining centers
• Program parts and adjust tooling as needed
• Set up machines and manage offsets
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Support quality checks with micrometers and calipers
• Operate forklift as required
