Job summary

Employ-Temps Sebring, OH is seeking a skilled Machinist/Lathe Operator for a contract role. 1st shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with pay of $29.00 per hour. You will work on precision machining, reading blueprints, and refining G-Code as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up machines from drawings, maintaining tight tolerances, selecting tooling, and operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of machine-to-blueprint specifications.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines by reading customer drawings and maintaining tolerances within .001” (sometimes tighter).
• Process orders involving 1-4 pieces.
• Modify G-Code programs as needed.
• Set off-sets for precise machining.
• Select appropriate tooling and inserts for each job.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
