Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) for 2nd shift. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machining centers, performing adjustments, and troubleshooting controllers and processes. You will read blueprints, select tools, and manage feeds and speeds to ensure quality parts.

Candidates should have 2-3 years of CNC Milling/Lathe/Swiss experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The job includes heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs) and crane operation for large parts.

Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This a contract to permanent / direct placement position with our key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalentas well as 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathe / Turning, CNC Swiss

Principle Duties

Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers. Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes. Works from Blueprint Requirements. Selects Tools, Sets Feeds and Speeds. Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools. Able to work Independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Operates Overhead Cranes for Large-Part Manufacturing. Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.) Re-orders Tools as needed.
