Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist IV for the 3rd shift at our Buffalo, NY site. You will manufacture high-precision aerospace components using advanced CNC equipment and CAM systems, ensuring tight tolerances and rigorous quality standards.

You will collaborate with Design Draftsmen and Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot issues, apply G & M codes, and plan fixturing and setup. A strong dedication to craftsmanship and continuous learning is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or ability to understand and apply instructions in English.
• 6 years of experience as a diversified machinist.
• CAD/CAM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision machining operations and CNC programming on CAM systems to create/repair complex parts and assemblies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of G & M codes and tight tolerances (.0001-.0002).
• Plan fixturing, setup, and layout for jobs with attention to quality.
• Work with Design Draftsmen and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
• Make technical decisions in fixturing, tooling, and inspection methods when needed.
