Job description

Job Summary

This position is a CNC Machinist in the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The schedule is 2nd shift Monday‑Friday, 2:45‑11:15 PM, with frequent overtime. The role requires access to export‑controlled commodities and must meet U.S. citizenship, legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate multi‑axis CNC mills and lathes to produce parts such as castings, forgings, and detailed engineering sketches.
• Select tooling, holding fixtures, and machining methods; perform first‑piece and in‑process inspection using precision measuring tools, gauges and automated CMMs to ensure specification compliance.
• Operate secondary operations such as drill press, stamping press, deburring, and other simple machines as needed.

Essential Requirements

• High School diploma or local equivalent (GED) or completed trade school apprenticeship program, or 10+ years CNC setup experience.
• Solid understanding of shop math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry) and GD&T.

Preferred Experience

• Experience running up to 9‑axis machining.
• Ability to interpret geometrical tolerancing and calculate dimensions from tool and part drawings.
• Experience reading and modifying CNC programs to address tool wear or program issues.
