Role Summary

The CNC Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC type or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is located in Cortland, NY on-site. We are seeking CNC Machine Operators for both 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Shifts

• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM.
• 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate equipment in the related area to produce components, subassemblies, and final assemblies from blueprints and work instructions; upload new programs or alterations and supply setup sheets; deburr parts; sharpen tools and set up tooling.
• Work under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate records and logs and collect data for use by Engineering; troubleshoot potential machine problems and recommend solutions.

Essential Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 18 months+ of related CNC Machine Operator experience

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $34.39/hour–$35.43/hour. This range may be modified in the future. Pall Corporation offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off and health coverage options. Details are provided during the offer process.
