Qualifications

• 3+ years set up and operating 3/5 axis CNC Mills/Lathes
• Familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controls
• Familiarity with NX and Mastercam
• Ability to read blueprints and apply shop math
• Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and operate hoist

Responsibilities

• Machine items from drawings and process sheets with extremely close tolerances and inspect using precision instruments
• Independently perform tasks requiring accuracy and advanced shop mathematics
• Develop alternate methods with Manufacturing Engineering for efficient production
• Perform complex setups and alignments for high-precision parts
• Apply shop math, GD&T and Feeds & Speeds calculations
• Maintain/clean and organize tooling, jigs, fixtures and gages
• Train other machinists as required
• Move between machining centers as needed
