Buffalo, NY. Be part of an exciting journey as we prepare for production at our new facility in the Western New York Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park (STAMP). Edwards Genesee location address: 6685 Crosby Rd Basom, NY 14013. Salary Range: $28.85 - $47.60. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Your Role

CNC Machinist III are highly skilled professionals responsible for advanced machining operations, mentoring others, and contributing to technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Expertly operate and troubleshoot HMC, mill-turn, grinder, and balancer machines across various part families.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in safety, quality, and SOP compliance.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex machining or process issues.
• Champion 6S workplace practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root-cause analysis in collaboration with engineers and team leaders when technical issues arise.
• Mentor and train junior machinists, supporting skill development and team knowledge transfer.
• Recommend process optimizations and support pilot runs or new setups as needed.

To Succeed, You Will Need

• 8+ years of CNC machining experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and CNC programming basics.
• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting, setups, and precision adjustments.
• Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
