Boston Dynamics is seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist to support robotics manufacturing operations. You will program and optimize CNC machines to produce precision components from engineering drawings and CAD models, ensuring tight tolerances for robotic systems.
Responsibilities include selecting tooling, setting up lathes and mills, reviewing GD&T and 3D CAD data, and collaborating with engineers and quality teams to maintain ISO/AS standards. Excellent attention to detail required.
Supports robotics manufacturing operations by programming and optimizing CNC machines for precision components used in robotic systems. This role works from engineering drawings and CAD models to develop machining instructions for tight-tolerance parts, ensuring compatibility with downstream robotic assembly. The technician identifies optimal tooling, materials, and methods for producing components such as housings, brackets, and end-effectors using advanced CNC equipment. This position collaborates closely with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to ensure parts meet specifications for high-performance robotic applications.

The pay range for this position is between $41.25 to $48.50 per hour. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors including, but not limited to internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience. This range represents a good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
