Job summary

Oceaneering in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate production machines such as lathes, mills, grinders and saws. You will machine materials to drawing specifications and perform in-process inspections.

This onsite role at our Houston facility runs 4:00 pm–4:00 am with the possibility of 8–12 hour shifts based on workload. GD&T reading and interpretation skills are a plus as you work from detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines such as lathes, mills, grinders and saws.
• Machine materials to drawing specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) as required.
• Perform in-process inspections where required.
