Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a CNC Set Up II to set up and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC Machining Centers to ready machines for fabrication of metallic and nonmetallic parts. The role requires advanced knowledge and precision in a fast-paced environment.

You will interpret drawings, select tooling, program CAM, conduct test runs, and train junior operators while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced CNC setup knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with CAM programming and tooling selection.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for production runs, selecting tooling and securing workpieces.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to understand machining requirements.
• Program machines using CAM software or manual methods and verify with test cuts.
• Monitor processes and adjust for quality and schedule adherence.
• Troubleshoot tooling, equipment, or programming issues.
• Train junior operators on setup and operation techniques.
