Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming code.
• Working knowledge of manual machines including saw, lathe, or mill.
• Proficiency in shop math.
• Ability to effectively read and interpret blueprints.
• Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Flexibility and cooperation in performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate cnc machining centers in a precision environment.
• Manufacture newly designed parts, including tooling and machining strategy.
• Program from scratch or modify existing programs.
• Follow detailed work instructions to meet quality standards and production goals.
• Inspect machined parts using precision tools to ensure quality.
• Safely operate machine tools and perform hand operations.
• Maintain machines and manage coolant and chip removal.
• Support others with set-up guidance and fixture use.
