Job summary

Environment One Corporation (E/One) within Precision Castparts Corp. in New York is seeking a CNC Machinist to load fixtures, set up cutting tools and CNC programs, and run multiple machines for precision parts.

You will read blueprints, apply tolerances, perform in-process inspections, and ensure quality while adhering to safety and PPE guidelines. The role offers benefits like life insurance, PTO, holidays and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Identify, load and secure fixtures with minimal assistance.
• Knowledge of G & M codes for offsets and CNC programs.
• Proficient in basic shop math and geometry.
• Ability to read basic prints and apply specs.
• 2-4 years of machining experience; HS diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and functional safety guidelines.
• Use sample parts, blueprints and schematics to determine methods and order.
• Protect machines and products by following processes for loading and transportation.
• Maintain product quality by adjusting CNC offsets as needed.
• Perform and record in-process inspections and first article/buyoff.
• Set up fixtures, cutting tools and CNC programs.
• Run production on multiple machines (Primary & Secondary).
• Other duties as assigned.
