Job summary

Amtec Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Machinist II to program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC mills and lathes. You will read 3D drawings, select tooling, and apply CAM software to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior machinists, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment. ISO9001/AS9100 knowledge is required. On-site Alabama facility.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years technical training and 3+ years CNC experience with mills/lathe using Mastercam or similar CAM software
• Ability to read and interpret 3D drawings and CAD/CAM files
• Experience programming 3-axis CNC centers; 5-axis with live tooling is a plus
• ISO9001/AS9100 environment experience is required
• Proficient with Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and turning centers
• Read and interpret 3D drawings and CAD/CAM files
• Maintain quality and meet production deadlines
• Collaborate with quality, sales and management to achieve objectives
• Assist and train Machinist I and Machine Operator team members
