Job summary

ITT Control Technologies in Valencia, CA is seeking a Machinist II for 1st shift to operate a variety of CNC machines and setups. You will inspect own work and ensure conformance to specifications while following blueprints and process methods.

Minimum 5 years of CNC experience, high school diploma or trade certification, and ability to lift 25–50 lbs are required. Lean knowledge is preferred; safety and continuous improvement are core values at ITT in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years CNC machine shop experience operating CNC machines.
• High School diploma or GED or trade school certification.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Maintain tolerances within .0002" in a fast-paced, quality-oriented environment.
• Lean knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, CNC mill-turn and setup machines with quick change tooling.
• Check material loads, coolant levels and run cells with multiple machines.
• Modify speeds/feeds as needed and inspect own work for conformance.
• Read blueprints and plans to produce quality parts per specifications.
• Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
