Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in Cheshire, CT is seeking a CNC Machinist 2 to plan and perform milling operations on metal parts. This first shift runs Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with responsibilities to machine parts to blueprints and specifications.

You will set up and operate milling machines, measure parts with micrometers, inspect for conformance, and maintain in-process documentation. The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years' CNC experience; U.S. person for ITAR data.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace preferred.
• Able to communicate professionally in English.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using milling machines.
• Set up, adjust, and operate basic machine tools.
• Measure and inspect using micrometers to ensure conformance.
• Maintain in-process documentation and records.
