Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a CNC Machinist in Florida to set up and operate a range of machine tools to produce precision parts while maintaining quality and safety standards. You will verify raw materials, load/unload with a forklift, and coordinate material locations with the inventory team.

Responsibilities include operating manual mills/lathes/plastic machining, deburring parts, following the production schedule, and performing quality checks at the source.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Basic SAP system experience.
• Basic Lean Manufacturing understanding.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify raw material receipts.
• Load and unload material safely, using forklift.
• Communicate material location changes with inventory team.
• Deburr parts and ensure quality.
• Follow the work schedule and set priorities.
• Operate manual mills/lathes/plastic machining.
• Perform cycle counting and 5S housekeeping.
• Perform quality checks at the source and record labor estimates.
• Maintain equipment and safe working area.
