This hands‑on opportunity involves setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss‑style machines to produce high‑precision components used in medical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and Swiss‑style machines according to blueprints, setup sheets, and production specifications.
• Edit CNC programs, adjust tooling and machine settings, and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Inspect finished components using blueprints and specifications to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Machine precision components using stainless steel, nitinol, nickel alloys, and other specialty metals.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and support machine reliability.
• Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience, including machine setup and operation.
• Experience setting up CNC equipment using technical drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and inspect parts to specifications.
• Experience editing CNC programs and troubleshooting machining processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computer systems for production and quality documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC machining experience in medical device or precision manufacturing.
• Experience with Swiss‑style CNC machines.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, or GMP manufacturing standards.
• Experience machining stainless steel, nitinol, nickel alloys, or other specialty metals.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
