Qualifications

• Understanding of G-code and the ability to make minor changes on the machine control.
• Conventional machining experience is a plus.
• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Current or active security clearance is a plus.
• Proficient in math.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understand GD&T.
• Machining training is a plus.
• MasterCam experience is a plus.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $30-$45 1st shift- Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 2nd Shift- Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m ($1 Shift differential)

• Set up jobs and select appropriate settings for a given task.
• Read and understand sketches, drawings, and work instructions.
• Follows traveler steps to complete the assignment.
• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary and verifying results.
• Maintains inventory of completed products.
• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.

High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs. Constant standing/walking for at least 8 hours. Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required. Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s). The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms).
