Job summary

Kurt Manufacturing Company is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Machining Division in Minneapolis, MN. The CNC Machinist II will set up, adjust, and operate CNC tools, perform progressive machining, and ensure tolerances and finish specifications are met.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; US citizenship or lawful permanent residency required for ITAR/contract roles. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for this role, with shifts Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.
• Ability to perform metric conversions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines.
• Follow programming instructions and machine set up data.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.

Kurt Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team at within our Machining Division in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The CNC Machinist II is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating numerically controlled machine tools. This role involves performing a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive workpieces, ensuring close and exacting tolerances and finish specifications.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Due to ITAR and U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa.

$2,000 Sign on Bonus eligible for this role.

Shift/Hours: Mon-Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Compensation

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $30.24 to $40.50. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Essential Functions

• Work from programming instructions, operational data and machine set up instructions defining and coding tool arrangements, material clamping methods, machine calibrations and console settings.
• Check parts for conformance to specifications.
• Operators may be required to run more than one unit simultaneously
• Requires a broad knowledge of machining techniques and familiarity with CNC operational procedures.
