Kurt Die Casting, a division of Kurt Manufacturing in Minneapolis, is hiring a CNC Operator I. You will operate semi-automatic CNC machines and read blueprints, with setups often handled by others.
The position runs 1st shift from 4:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with pay range $20.26 to $27.01 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

The CNC Operator I operates and adjusts semi-automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Due to ITAR and U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visa.
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $20.26 to $27.01. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.

Employees at our die casting facility can gain experience in multiple areas of manufacturing including aluminum and zinc die casting, CNC machining, automation, and quality control. We have over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space with the capacity and capability to service a diverse set of customers and industries. Kurt Die Casting features 20 CNC machining centers and 15 die casting machines ranging in size from 500 to 1,200 tons. Many of the castings we produce feature challenging designs that require secondary operations such as machining, finishing and assembly.
