Job summary

Hydromotion, Inc. in Spring City, PA is seeking a Precision CNC Machinist to produce high-precision components.

You will operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, set up jobs, and verify part dimensions with precision gauges while maintaining quality and cycle times. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC machining, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently in a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule with occasional overtime to meet demand.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 5 years CNC machining experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
Experience setting up and operating CNC equipment.
Experience using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

Safely operating CNC mills, lathes, verticals, and horizontals.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions.
Performing machine setup and changeovers for different part numbers.
Adjusting tooling and offsets to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
Loading raw material and unloading finished parts.
Running production efficiently while meeting quality and cycle time expectations.
Performing in-process inspections and verifying dimensions with measuring equipment.
Deburring parts and performing daily machine upkeep and preventive maintenance.
