Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Machinist in Pennsylvania to join a leading manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, proficient in CNC and manual machining, and can read blueprints and mechanical drawings to produce precision parts.

You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines, inspect parts, and ensure safety and quality. Collaboration with engineers and other machinists is essential for delivering high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in using and maintaining CNC machines, manual machining tools, lathes, and mills.
• Advanced knowledge in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Strong understanding of precision measurement tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machines to perform drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
• Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand specifications.
• Translate instructions into machine commands to perform functions.
• Inspect and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Test and adjust finished products to meet specs and quality standards.
• Set up and operate manual machining tools.
• Operate lathe and mill machines to produce precision parts to exact specs.
• Maintain safety measures and a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to produce high-quality products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine or product issues.
