Job summary

RBC Bearings is seeking a machinist to support safe, efficient production in a fast-paced shop environment. You will perform precision machining, inspection and deburring, following drawings and documented procedures. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork while maintaining equipment and contributing to continuous improvement.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, basic reading/writing in English, and the ability to work overtime. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• Understanding of machine shop theory, procedures and shop math.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of measuring and inspection equipment and theory.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines per specifications and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety standards.
• Complete required equipment maintenance checks.
• Identify parts using vibro-pen, etching, CNC engraver or similar.
• Hone, deburr and inspect parts; perform SPC.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals.
