Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Machine Operator to support precision bearing production. This role focuses on setting up and operating manual and CNC equipment, performing trimming, deburring, and inspection tasks to ensure parts meet specifications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and up to 3 years of factory experience. The position involves working indoors in a manufacturing environment with safety and quality requirements, and offers hourly pay

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
0-3 years of factory-related experience.
Training in safety, ESD awareness, FO damage awareness and quality system awareness.

Responsibilities

Operate speed lathes including trim and deburr with hand tools.
Assemble bearings into housings using dedicated tools and fixtures.
Operate hone machine to size inner diameter.
Load/unload CNC lathes and inspect parts.
Maintain clean work area and follow safety regulations.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance per PM charts.
Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, swaging and bench operations.
Understand basic machine functions for assigned tasks.
Accept supervision for machine setup.
