Job summary

Quest Industries, Inc. in Lapeer, MI is seeking a CNC Lathe Setup/Operator for a full-time, on-site role. You will setup and operate 2-axis and 3-axis CNC lathes, secure tooling and workpieces, adjust offsets, and perform in-process inspections to ensure tight tolerances.

Read blueprints, troubleshoot issues, document production and quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Experience with tooling or mold-making is preferred; strong attention to detail and safety are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to independently set up and operate 2-axis and 3-axis CNC lathes with sub spindle.
• Capable of simultaneously setting up and operating multiple machines during production.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and job instructions.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain tight tolerances.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• CNC machining experience in manufacturing; tooling or mold-making experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality.
