Job summary

Prince Industries seeks an experienced CNC Machinist I to operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, and verify parts with micrometers and calipers to tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in a CNC role, strong math skills, and a safety-first mindset. The role involves standing 8–10 hours and occasional material handling in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNC experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a CNC related field with set up familiarity.
• Ability to read GD&T blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and basic shop math.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to machine parts per specs.
• Verify conformance with measurements using micrometers/calipers/go gauges.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
• Secure tooling and position work pieces in fixtures; maintain setups.
• Support daily preventive maintenance and meet production needs.
