Job summary

ISSI Engineering & Machining is seeking a CNC Machinist I to join our precision machining team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role focuses on setting up and running Haas and Okuma machines, reading engineered drawings, and ensuring high-quality parts through standard inspection practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years experience setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prove out, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, setup information, tooling requirements, and work instructions.
• Inspect parts using standard inspection equipment and keep accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
