Prototek in Concord, NH is seeking a CNC Machinist I to join our team. You will operate and learn to set up CNC equipment, produce parts to print, and perform inspections on first shift, onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year CNC operation experience preferred.
• Basic machining, math and measurement knowledge.
• Exposure to 3-axis, 5-axis and/or lathe machining is a plus.
• Familiarity with Mastercam, WinMax or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn to set up CNC equipment
• Produce parts to print and model specifications
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections
• Work with basic measuring equipment
• Assist with fixtures, machine maintenance and process improvements
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
