Job summary

Prototek in Concord, NH is seeking a CNC Machinist I to join our manufacturing team. You will work hands-on with CNC equipment and continue developing your setup, machining and inspection skills.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of CNC operation experience; familiarity with 3- and 5-axis machining is a plus. We offer a first shift, onsite position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year CNC operation experience preferred.
• Basic machining, math and measurement knowledge.
• Exposure to 3-axis, 5-axis and/or lathe machining is a plus.
• Familiarity with Mastercam, WinMax or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn to set up CNC equipment.
• Produce parts to print and model specifications.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections.
• Work with basic measuring equipment.
• Assist with fixtures, machine maintenance and process improvements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
