Job summary

Qualifications

• Entry-level machining experience or formal training.
• Ability to learn Vermeer Machining Training Program.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; verify tol and fit.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers and turning centers.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; select tooling and load programs.
• Make basic program edits and update tool/work offsets.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to verify parts.
• Safely handle materials and follow EHS/LOTO/PPE procedures.
• Apply shop math to support accuracy and throughput.
• Meet targets with minimal scrap and support CI/kaizen.
