Job summary

Manatal is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to own setup, programming, and operation of Haas CNC milling equipment, including a Haas TM-3P. Cross-training on tube cutters, robotic welding cells, inspection, and fit-up is provided as part of a path toward automation.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating Haas mills, programming with G-code/M-code, interpreting drawings, and collaborating with manufacturing engineering to improve cycle times and tooling.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on CNC machining experience focusing on mill setup, programming, and operation.
• Strong Haas CNC experience with ability to independently set up jobs, offsets, and first parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, tolerances, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills including workholding, tooling, offsets, probing, and first-part setup.
• Create, edit, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
• Read blueprints and GD&T, and perform first-part and in-process inspection.
