Job summary

Pro Resources Inc. in Berne, IN is seeking a CNC Machinist – Tier 2 for a full-time role on 2nd & 3rd shifts. The position requires experience with CNC or manual machines, precise blueprints, and the ability to meet tight tolerances.

Compensation ranges from $24–$28 per hour with competitive benefits. Responsibilities include operating equipment, inspecting parts with micrometers/calipers, performing tool changes, and assisting with setups.

Qualifications

Experience with CNC or manual machining.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with machine setups, tooling adjustments, and fixtures.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards.
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Perform basic hand operations including filing, fitting, and scraping.
Change worn inserts or tooling and reset tool lengths.
Assist with machine setups and fixture installation/removal.
Make basic tool adjustments and machine coordinate changes as needed.
Record labor and production data in the system.
Maintain clean machines and work areas.
