Qualifications

• 1–2 years CNC experience.
• G-Code and M-Code programming required.
• CAD/CAM programming a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Reads and interprets blueprints.
• Strong shop math skills.
• Knowledge and use of standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Works well with others as a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and/or machine center; programming a plus.
• Create/modify setup fixtures to improve production.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot issues on CNC machines.
• Use/operate secondary machines and tools such as sanders, grinders, drill presses/mills, lathes.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Interpret technical drawings (blueprints) to set up machines/parts.
• Other tasks as assigned by machine shop foreman.
