Job summary

Pexco is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our Tacoma, WA facility. You will operate, program, and maintain CNC machinery, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety and efficiency in a busy shop environment.

Responsibilities include setting up CAM programs, adjusting speeds and feeds, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with team members. Monday–Friday 7am–3pm; compensation is $26.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associates in Machining preferred.
• CNC experience essential.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and dimensions.
• Program CNC machines using CAM software, making necessary adjustments to cutting speeds, feeds, and tool paths.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration tasks on CNC equipment to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery and handling hazardous materials.
