Turbocam Inc. is seeking a Machinist Apprentice to learn and perform setup and operation of tool room equipment, including CNC mills and lathes, from drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions. You will gain hands-on experience, trouble-shoot processes, and support all manufacturing activities in the tool room.

The role may lead to another position within the company. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic setup experience, understanding of trigonometry, and familiarity with

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience as a CNC Mill operator and/or Lathe operator with basic setup is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5.
• Experience with blueprint reading and metrology tools.
• Basic understanding of trigonometry.
• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP software familiarity (Epicor helpful).

Responsabilidades

• Perform and learn setup and operation of all tool room equipment.
• Design, build and/or maintain fixtures, tools or gaging for use in specific projects.
• Recognize design and program defects and communicate to Tool Room Supervisor.
• Learn to write technical documents such as work instructions and procedures.
• Maintain records related to work.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
