Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist - Aerospace Components (Weekend Days)

Primary Purpose:

Set up and operate 5-axis CNC machining centers and CMM inspection machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up Haas Vertical Mills safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Perform in-process inspections using handheld measurement tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers).

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 1-3 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Haas controllers is a plus.
• Ability to interpret setup sheets and follow verbal instructions.
• Experience with basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins).
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

• Standing for 8-10 hours daily.
• Moderate noise level from CNC machines and deburring processes.
• Fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

Schedule:

• Weekend Day Shift (Friday-Sunday, 3x12 hours)
• $1.25/hour shift differential
• Overtime as needed based on business requirements.
