CNC Machinist - Aerospace Components - Weekend Days

Primary Purpose:
CNC Machinists will set up and run 5-axis CNC machining centers and CMM inspection machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and set up Haas Vertical Mills safely and efficiently.
  2. Maintain a clean work area.
  3. Participate in Continuous Improvement processes and Lean Thinking.
  4. Perform in-process part inspections with handheld measurement tools (Calipers, Gauge Pins, Micrometers, Bore Gauges).
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  1. HS diploma or equivalent GED required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu.
  2. 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  3. Familiarity with Haas controllers preferred.
  4. Ability to understand and follow written setup sheets and verbal instructions.
  5. Experience with basic handheld inspection equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Gage Pins, etc.).
  6. Works effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  7. Reliable and punctual attendance.
  8. Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
  9. Willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
  10. Willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.
Working Conditions:
  1. Standing 8-10 hours per day.
  2. Moderate noise level (CNC machines and de-burring processes).
  3. Fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and grow.
Schedule:
  1. Weekend day shift (Friday-Sunday, 3x12 hours).
  2. $1.25/hour shift differential.
  3. Overtime based on business needs.
